Sponsorship Package for the Annual Conference “Together We Grow”

We are preparing for The Arc of Kentucky’s 2018 Annual Best Practice Conference scheduled on March 8-9th 2018, in Louisville at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport.  As you know, The Arc of Kentucky is a statewide, private, non-profit, multi-purpose, volunteer organization with local chapters located across the state.  We are a grassroots organization that has a membership of 1,100 plus, consisting of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Parents, family members, friends, professionals, business leaders, policymakers and others are dedicated to attaining and ensuring a better life for Kentuckians who have these disabilities, as well as their families.

Everybody Counts! Disability Awareness 2018 Poster Contest

The Arc of Kentucky is sponsoring a poster contest for Elementary, Middle and High School students that depict the theme of “Everybody Counts.” The contest will be held to celebrate March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

Posters must be completed by:  February 20, 2018.  Posters will be picked up by an Arc member in your area to be brought to The Arc of Kentucky Annual Conference where they will be displayed and judged by participants on March 8.  Everybody Counts 2018

 

 

The Arc of Kentucky Annual Awards – 2018

The Arc of Kentucky Annual Awards to be presented in 2018 at the annual conference in Louisville on March 8-9, 2018, and will be given to the nominated individuals who best fit these descriptions:  These awards emphasize the importance of recognizing the ABILITIES of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and the outstanding service delivered by many volunteers and professionals in the fields of intellectual and related disabilities.

The Arc of Kentucky will host its 2018 Annual Conference at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport in Louisville, KY on March 8-9, 2018 in collaboration with the Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities, The Autism Society of the Bluegrass, Kentucky Department of Education, Jefferson County Parent Resource Center and Simpson County Parent Resource Center.
