Wings for Autism® Coming to Louisville
Wings for Autism® is one of The Arc’s newest national initiatives. This program allows for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other intellectual/developmental disabilities, as well as their families, to simulate the airport experience. This includes practice entering the airport, going through TSA security, waiting in the gate area, and boarding the plane (the plane will not take off). This event is free of charge and will be coming to the Louisville International Airport on September 22nd.
