The Arc’s Annual Conference was a great success this year, as many from across the state and country came together to increase awareness and promote an increased quality of life for those in our community impacted by intellectual or developmental disabilities. Here are some photos from the event. We hope to see you all next year.
The Arc visited our representatives to talk about key issues. The Self Empowerment Network in action!
They shared their concerns about community access, transportation, employment, Medicaid, housing, and their caregivers. They spoke for you the individuals. We could never get us all together for one picture due to the wheelchairs having so much difficulty maneuvering around the Capitol and annex.
